Swedish Massage

-
Massage therapy is the systematized manipulation of soft tissues for the purpose of normalizing them. Practitioners use a variety of physical methods including applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, or causing movement to the body. Therapists primarily use their hands, but may also use their forearms, elbows, or feet. The basic goal of massage therapy is to help the body heal itself and to increase health and well-being.
Massage improves circulation, which increases blood flow, bringing fresh oxygen to body tissues. This can assist the elimination of waste products, such as latic acid, speed healing after injury, and enhance recovery from disease.
Massage can be used to promote general well-being and enhance self-esteem, while boosting the circulatory and immune systems to benefit blood pressure, circulation, muscle tone, digestion, and skin tone.
Therapeutic massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress; and, to promote health and wellness. As well as improving the functions of the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems and may improve the rate at which the body recovers from injury and illness.

Tui Na

-
It is a system of deep tissue massage. Often referred to as Chinese massage, it moves the body's inner energy system, stagnation and stiffness. It revitalizes weak areas, helps the body's response to stress, and stimulates circulation and immune function.
Some conditions treated by Tui Na are stress, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain, menstrual problems, carpal tunnel, respiratory and digestive problems, sciatica, arthritis, anxiety, tension, depression and insomnia.
After a treatment, you may feel free of stiffness, balanced, relaxed, confident, full of energy and enthusiasm. You are full of vigor and “sparkle” with energy.

Pregnancy Massage

-
While pregnancy is a magical time, it also can be a time of major physical and emotional stress. The release of hormones, the increase in blood supply, the additional body fluid, and the shifting center of gravity all contribute to increased stress and strain on joints and muscles in your pregnant body. Massage can relieve much of the stress and strain associated with these physical changes.
Side-lying and semi-reclining positions are used to ensure your comfort while providing optimal access to aching joints and muscles.
Massage during the postpartum weeks can aid in beating the “baby blues”. It increases circulation, reduces stress, removes toxins, and brings oxygen to all parts of the body.
We will not treat any Pregnancy if the Mother To Be is in her FIRST TRIMESTER.

Ear Coning / Ear Candeling

-
Ear candling is a safe, simple home remedy for relieving pressure, fighting infection, and gently removing toxins and excess wax from inside the ears. Long, tapered cones are inserted into the ears and lit on fire. Warm, dry, powdery smoke from the cone draws out excess fluids, wax and toxic debris. The entire process is relaxing and non-invasive. There is no danger of injury in the hands of a skilled therapist, even a lay person can perform the candling session without much risk, as long as they could follow the ear candle manufacturer's instructions. The process can regulate pressure, assist with post nasal drip, sinusitis, migraines, some forms of hearing loss, restoration of equilibrium, relieving tinnitus, vertigo and Meniere's Syndrome.

Myofascial Release

-
Myofascial Release is a treatment approach that seeks to release fascial restrictions and to lengthen superficial and deep fascial tissue so that the body demonstrates an improved ability to move. In order to change the form of the fascia, the therapist gently guides the tissue beyond its elastic range and into its plastic rangethrough sustained pressure and traction. Pressures used vary from light to medium with less force used the deeper you go.
