Massage therapy is the systematized manipulation of soft tissues for the purpose of normalizing them. Practitioners use a variety of physical methods including applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, or causing movement to the body. Therapists primarily use their hands, but may also use their forearms, elbows, or feet.  The basic goal of massage therapy is to help the body heal itself and to increase health and well-being.

Massage improves circulation, which increases blood flow, bringing fresh oxygen to body tissues. This can assist the elimination of waste products, such as latic acid, speed healing after injury, and enhance recovery from disease.

Massage can be used to promote general well-being and enhance self-esteem, while boosting the circulatory and immune systems to benefit blood pressure, circulation, muscle tone, digestion, and skin tone.

Therapeutic massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress; and, to promote health and wellness.  As well as improving the functions of the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems and may improve the rate at which the body recovers from injury and illness.

It is a system of deep tissue massage. Often referred to as Chinese massage, it moves the body's inner energy system, stagnation and stiffness. It revitalizes weak areas, helps the body's response to stress, and stimulates circulation and immune function.

Some conditions treated by Tui Na are stress, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain, menstrual problems, carpal tunnel, respiratory and digestive problems, sciatica, arthritis, anxiety, tension, depression and insomnia.

After a treatment, you may feel free of stiffness, balanced, relaxed, confident, full of energy and enthusiasm. You are full of vigor and “sparkle” with energy.

The art and science of healing through the empowerment of each person; clearing, aligning and balancing the subtle energies of the body, awakening you to your highest potential.

What to expect during a Polarity session.

Each session is tailored to meet your individual needs in an honoring, loving, supportive environment. A session lasts about an hour and a half to two hours. It is best to wear light colored, loose comfortable clothing.

The session will begin with a dialogue to determine the most appropriate work for that particular session. You will then move to the massage table, where you will remain fully clothed receiving a very gentle contact. You may experience physical sensations, visual images, laughter or tears. All responses are welcome, as blocked energy is finding its release from your being. As a channel for the highest energy and for facilitating you in reaching your highest potential.

A combination of Swedish and Polarity Massage.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a 3000 year-old medical system that uses Accupressure and herbs to diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases, prevent illness and improve overall well-being.

Many health problems that are triggered by stress will immediately help relax the body and calm the mind. In combination with herbal medicine, acupuncture works to promote the body's natural ability to heal itself.

In 1997, the National Institutes of Health concluded that acupressure is effective in the treatment of:

Asthma
Carpal tunnel syndrome
Fibromyalgia
Headaches
Low back pain
Menstrual pain
Nausea/vomiting
Stroke rehabilitation
Tennis elbow

Other conditions commonly treated by accupressure and herbs are:

Allergies
Constipation
Depression/ anxiety
Digestive disorders
Fatigue
Infertility Insomnia
PMS
Sports injuries

Acupressure is a healing modality that emphasizes balancing the body's energy of Qi on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level by applying gentle yet firm pressure to specific acupoints using hand, elbow, knee and barefoot techniques. Traditional Japanese Shiatsu and classical acupuncture theory are the foundation for assessment skills and treatment planning. Corrective exercises,  magnet therapy, moxabustion, cupping, herbal plasters and liniments are adjunct therapies.
Deep muscle massage incorporates deep pressure to release physical as well as emotional trauma held within the muscles.

Deep Tissue Massage has proven to be a very effective massage technique, which is directed specifically to individual muscle fibers. Its purpose is to unstick the fibers of a muscle while releasing deeply-held patterns of tension, removing toxins, relaxing, soothing and thereby re-educating, as well as encouraging the muscle to operate at full capacity. It is both corrective and therapeutic.

Although Deep Tissue Massage is an intense massage with powerful results, it is done in such a way as to encourage the body not to react defensively. The depth and pressure of the work is kept within the comfort range of the client.

While pregnancy is a magical time, it also can be a time of major physical and emotional stress. The release of hormones, the increase in blood supply, the additional body fluid, and the shifting center of gravity all contribute to increased stress and strain on joints and muscles in your pregnant body. Massage can relieve much of the stress and strain associated with these physical changes.

Side-lying and semi-reclining positions are used to ensure your comfort while providing optimal access to aching joints and muscles.

Massage during the postpartum weeks can aid in beating the “baby blues”. It increases circulation, reduces stress, removes toxins, and brings oxygen to all parts of the body.

We will not treat any Pregnancy if the Mother To Be is in her FIRST TRIMESTER.

Ear candling is a safe, simple home remedy for relieving pressure, fighting infection, and gently removing toxins and excess wax from inside the ears. Long, tapered cones are inserted into the ears and lit on fire.  Warm, dry, powdery smoke from the cone draws out excess fluids, wax and toxic debris. The entire process is relaxing and non-invasive. There is no danger of injury in the hands of a skilled therapist, even a lay person can perform the candling session without much risk, as long as they could follow the ear candle manufacturer's instructions.  The process can regulate pressure, assist with post nasal drip, sinusitis, migraines, some forms of hearing loss, restoration of equilibrium, relieving tinnitus, vertigo and Meniere's Syndrome.

Acupuncture literally means 'needle piercing," the practice of inserting very fine needles into the skin to stimulate specific anatomic points in the body (called acupoints or acupuncture points) for therapeutic purposes. Along with the usual method of puncturing the skin with the fine needles, the practitioners of acupuncture also use heat, pressure, friction, suction, or impulses of electromagnetic energy to stimulate the points. The acupoints (acupuncture points) are stimulated to balance the movement of energy (qi) in the body to restore health.

Acupuncture can be used to aid the healing of many bodily ailments.  Chronic Muscle Pain,
